Vortech tank technology improves flow through the system during backwash, providing more thorough cleaning and the ability to reduce backwash times. This can lead to extended media life and/or less wastewater.

The advanced air injection design allows for air injection in a single tank, which is a significant advantage over two tank or venturi (inline) injection systems. By containing the oxidation process to a single tank routine maintenance is reduced, part replacement and associated costs are decreased, and less space is required.
