ScalePlus™ Scale Reduction Water Heater System Designed for water heaters and tankless systems

The Aquios® SP220 is a point of use system for the reduction and prevention of sediment and lime scale accumulation on the inside of tankless water heaters and traditional water heaters. 

The polypropylene housing housing utilizes our 5 micron 20” sediment filter which includes a proprietary scale prevention media designed to prevent and reduce harmful scale build up on heating elements and water heater tanks. 

This wall mounted unit is designed to be installed prior to a water heater and will provide a flow rate of up to 14 gallons per minute (GPM).  The standard inlet and outlet connections are 1” NPT and has a design pressure of 125 PSI (6.6 bar) with a maximum operating temperature of 113°F (45°C). 

The melt blown, polypropylene cartridge has graded depth filtration to provide exceptional dirt loading capacity with high flow rates and minimal pressure loss.  The proprietary scale prevention media is designed specifically for extreme water conditions found in high temperature filtration applications.  The media is designed to last 6 months.
