Maximum operating pressure rating of 80 psi, if you suspect that your water pressure will at any time exceed 60 psi, a pressure regulator must be installed before the filter housing and be set at 50 psi or less. The rubber o-ring provides a good grip between the cap and the sump. Please make sure that the o-ring be properly seated in the groove to avoid any leaks.
