To determine if this key fits your wheel lock, simply remove the cap on your lug nuts, find the lug nut that has an intricate pattern (the locking lug nut/wheel lock), and then determine the SHAPE and NUMBER of teeth. The two varieties of teeth are either POINTED like a star or the ends are SQUARED/flattened off. Taking a picture makes it much easier and more convenient to count the teeth and confirm the shape. IMPORTANT: Keep in mind that these VW wheel locks come in multiple variations - you have to look at your specific lock to determine which one will work for you . Please double check the shape and count the splines very carefully before placing your order. Mechanics very often forget to put these back after rotating/balancing tires or working on brakes, and you may only notice months later after you get a flat, leaving you in a bad situation.
