Double C Customs is a Texas based family business, owned, and operated by father and son team, Rob Chapman and Blake Chapman and their wives, Jennifer and Senha. Rob started in 1993 working for 8X Rodeo Company out of Mesquite, Texas, and quickly found the need for having a whip while moving stock from one pen to the next. In his search for a whip that was well balanced, durable enough to with stand long days in a saddle and harsh conditions of any kind, and yet be reasonably priced, he came up short repeatedly. It was then that he started his quest to build his own whips that no store could provide. The word quickly spread of the high-quality nylon whips he was beginning to produce. In 2019 after many years of watching his dad plait whip after whip, Blake became interested and instantly fell in love with the craft. Blake rapidly launched his twist on the whip builds and growth was seen quickly within the company. In 2020 they decided to turn their focus to building more whips and offer a wider range of colors, handles, and upgrades while maintaining the same integrity and expenditure to the consumer, whether they be a novice whip enthusiast or a seasoned day hand whose tools must not fail.
