Which Pads to Use: Use Polishing Pads (#2) after the Coarse Pads (#1) to remove medium-sized particulates. Follow with Fine/Sterile Pads (#3) for ultimate clarity and stability. Proper Pad Placement: Place the Polishing Pads (#2) in the middle plate of the filter stack. Ensure the rough side of the pad faces the wine as it enters the filter. Using an Electric System: With the Mini Jet Wine Filter, once the Polishing Pads (#2) are in place, the self-priming pump will automatically begin filtering the wine. Ensure that the filter is primed, and the intake hose is correctly positioned in your wine container. Filtering Your Wine: After the Coarse Pads (#1) have done their job, replace them with the Polishing Pads (#2) to filter out medium particles. The process is quick and effective, with 20 liters (5 gallons) of wine filtered in just 15 minutes.
